Ireland - Laura Wylie

Laura is CEO of Links Counselling Service where she has built up a thriving community counselling service, establishing counselling centres, and counselling in schools across the province. Laura leads a large team of counsellors, as well leading alongside her husband within their local church. Having obtained her initial counsellor training in Person Centred Counselling at Queens University Belfast, Laura has obtained further qualifications in Supervision, Trauma-Informed Counselling for Children and young people, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Couples therapy and has achieved an MSc in Pluralistic Psychotherapy. Laura is passionate about facilitating opportunities for people to realise and release their God-given potential, taking their place in His Kingdom work.  Laura is a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Supervisor.

Course Tutors

Scotland - Lynn Millar

Lynn has been counselling since 2010 and has been Director of Counselling in the Wellness Centre, St Mungo’s church, in Balerno overseeing a team of counsellors and supervisors. She has an MSc in Counselling Studies and Post Graduate Certificates in Supervision, Working with Children and Working with Couples. She is an accredited counsellor with BACP and COSCA. A qualified teacher and an accredited COSCA trainer, Lynn has been involved in training counsellors and delivering a wide range of CPD events in Edinburgh.

  • Nicole Curran

    Course Tutor

    Nicole is a BACP accredited counsellor with a BA Hons in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Nicole works as a counsellor and senior manager in Links Counselling Service, overseeing a large team of counsellors. Nicole specialises in trauma focused therapies, including EMDR, CBT and group work.

  • Ali Knight

    Course Tutor

    Ali is a Supervisor for counsellors and those in pastoral roles. She also works as a private therapist, offering counselling to individuals and couples, as well as facilitating wellbeing workshops. Ali has been a Tutor on the Vital Connexions Diploma course for the last 8 years, providing teaching, and pastoral care to students.

     Ali has achieved a BA Hons in Integrative counselling, a Diploma in Integrative Counselling with a Christian Perspective, a Diploma in Counselling in Supervision, and a Certificate in Counselling Couples.

  • Steph Lowry

    Course Tutor

    Steph works within private practice offering counselling to individuals and couples. She is a qualified Supervisor and Trainer, offering clinical supervision to counsellors. She has many years of pastoral experience and works alongside her husband in a local community church. She has a BA Hons in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Diploma in Supervision, and a Certificate in Couples Therapy.
